Summary

This study examined visual-vestibular integration in vestibular migraine patients. Researchers compared 57 patients with vestibular migraine to 30 healthy controls. They assessed visually enhanced vestibulo-ocular reflex (VVOR) and vestibulo-ocular reflex suppression (VORS). The tests were performed using video-oculography during head rotation. Results showed that patients had higher VVOR gains than controls. Specifically, the mean VVOR gain was 1.4 versus 1.2. Additionally, patients exhibited elevated VORS gains compared to controls.
